Health Center and Clinical Services
The Health Science Center (HSC) operates
within a complex set of federal, state and university
compliance
requirements for activities which range from sponsored
research to patient care. These are met through
the combined efforts of the HSC colleges, under
the Office
of the Vice President for Health Affairs, and the
specific functions established at various levels
throughout
the HSC to coordinate and monitor compliance. These
resources include the HSC Privacy Office and the
College of Medicine’s Billing Compliance
Office.
Among
OACR activities are compliance audits, both through
HSC-specific efforts and other cross-campus scopes.
The office brings these additional resources toward
coverage of the broad spectrum of HSC policy and
regulatory requirements.

Center & Clinical Policies & Useful links.
